As Art Director for League & Company, I was in charge of revamping our Brand Guidelines and Social Media Strategy. To start, I wanted to finalize a brand standards document that our entire team could use as a staple moving forward. I designed the deck and created our brand mood, voice, and tone. Holiday Campaign

For the 2022 holiday season, we wanted to have some fun with the brand in preparation for gifting season. I shot some fun content in-house and we created these assets for social media and an email campaign. I photographed the images, retouched the images, created copy and pushed all assets live via email and social media platforms.

Here are a handful of my favorite social media assets for League & Company. We love a good play on words, and social media is a great place for us to have fun with some of our amazing photography.

Play Dates

Play Dates is League & Company’s giveback initiative. We believe everyone should be able to experience the joy of play. So, our team will donate games to communities or organizations that we think could really benefit from the power of play. For local events, our small team will travel to the location and spend some time playing these games with the residents. We’ve had a lot of fun with this program, and a lot of great feedback. I created the logo for this program along with the social assets for our various platforms.

Best Year Ever is a school supplies brand that believes being “spirited” is a good thing. It’s a compliment. Best Year Ever celebrates this excitement and enthusiasm. Our goal is to design school supplies with as much spirit as the kids who cram them into their backpacks. I am currently Art Director for Best Year Ever, one of June Co.’s owned brands.

For our lifestyle photoshoot I was in charge of the shot list, finding a photographer and models (loved this part), styling, as well as some subtle retouching to get the assets correct for specific platforms. We had such a fun day on set, and the kids did such an amazing job! We were lucky enough to have a co-worker who had a family member who was a teacher. The school and classroom were exactly what we were looking for!

Product Design

Here are some various designs that we pitched to the buyers for our back to school launch. Some of them were selected and made it onto the shelves of some big retailers. It’s cool to see the amount of effort that goes into creating one single notebook/folder.

At Juno, we believe anything worth doing, is worth doing with your dog. We want to give you everything you need to show and share your entire world with your dog. Whether it’s a nightly walk around the neighborhood, a weekend trip to the brewery, or taking a ride in the car just because your dog likes it — Juno understands that the best “plus one” has four paws.

Facebook Ad and Promotional Handout

Here are some creative assets we used to promote a couple of our most popular items. The first is a video we used as a Facebook ad, and the second is a handout that helped push the most amazing poop bags in the industry.

Email Campaigns

We send out a ton of email campaigns and flows for our in-house brands. Here are a couple of my favorites that I created for Juno. These emails contain live text, linked buttons, and GIFs. All assets were created with the intent to get as many clicks as possible. Although we have a small email list, the open rates on these were pretty solid.

Social Media Content

Here are some of my favorite social media posts that I worked on. We have a lot of great photography, but we’re always looking for ways to have some fun with content while still showcasing our products.

Packaging

Here is a packaging design that we created to send to our influencer list. We filled these with our best selling product – the Dash Pack, a couple of Juno apparel items, squeaky toys, and some stickers. We got some really good feedback from our influencers on these.

Diogie is my BABY. I wanted to start an apparel line for the longest time, and in 2018 I pulled the trigger. We make apparel for dog lovers and donate a portion of the profits to animal shelters and foster organizations. My role in the business is designer/creative director. I have sooo many designs for this brand, but a lot of it is content for future launches. We plan to push the brand to new levels in 2022 and I can’t wait to see what happens. The bigger we get the more doggos we can help! Here are some of my favorite pieces to date.

Bearly Sober Brewing Co is not a real brewery. It started out as a logo, but I wanted to take it a step further. I created coasters, a beer label, necker, and bottle top. All of the illustrations are original.

Piff Minneapolis is a clothing store in Minneapolis that sells some of the most popular street wear brands in the world. Recently, they have started creating some of their own pieces.
